There are various types of real estate channels on youtube. Some reflect the house hunt of the owner of the channel... and then go beyond just that. Others are from professional agents. Some channels focus candidate expats of specific nationalities (most often US citizens wanting to move abroad). This posting gives an overview of what not had been covered before.
"Italy a place to love" is the first one. This is actually run by an Italian, using idealista and making his comments. Videos are on one specific city (over 20.000 inhabitants) It is mentioned that those are not eligible for the 7% tax scheme in Southern Italy. The intention is to check whether a chosen city is affordable to live in. Two videos chosen here focus on Termoli (Molise) and on Chieti (Abruzzo). There is also a video about the one euro house programme. An American buyer ended up spending well over €450.000 to complete extensions (buying an adjacent house) and renovations. "For that kind of money you can buy a 'palazzo' and spend only little on refurbishment." is the expected comment.
TerraItalia usually showcases a walk-through of some property, without any comments. There is a nice one on a property in Dolceacqua (Liguria) close to the mediterranean.
SuperSavvyTravelers is yet another channel run by an American lady and mainly focusing on Tuscany where she relocated to. An example is this video on Montepulciano and outskirts.
"Save and invest with Giorgio Loukas" is our next channel. We already had his overview on appealing and overpriced Italian regions. His channel goes far beyond that.
Sea View Real Estate in Italy for Under $100,000 seems appealing? How about Sea View Real Estate in Italy for Under $50,000. Well don't expect a luxurious mansion to reside all year long, but a suitable holiday property which you can rent out in July and August is a decent find.
